The picture quality is typically high, and the sound can be taken directly from the TV card (SAA7131, SAA7133, SAA7134, SAA7135) or through a patch cable to your sound card (SAA7130HL). On the text capture front, both teletext and NTSC closed captioning are supported.

This is a v4l2/oss device driver for saa7130/33/34/35 based capture / TVboards.

Once the new Kernel is booted, saa7134 driver should be loaded automatically.
Depending on the card you might have to pass card=<nr> as insmod option.If so, please check SAA7134 cards list for valid choices.

6.18.4. Known Problems¶
- The tuner for the flyvideos isn’t detected automatically and thedefault might not work for you depending on which version you have.There is a
tuner=insmod option to override the driver’s default.
