Regular maintenance of your products will increase its performance and lifespan. It is recommended that your fork, shock or seat post receive a Full Factory Service every 125hrs or yearly - which ever comes first*
Basic Rebuild Services Price (each) Rebuild Fox/ACT Std Shock: $45. Rebuild Fox Reservoir Shock: $55. Rebuild Fox Float / Float 2 / Float 3: $55. Rebuild Fox Float Evol / Evol R. Fox air shocks use a 1.25' shaft to displace the nitrogen's volume, which creates the extreme pressures necessary to provide spring force. Fox air shocks provide 1.15 pounds of spring force for every pound of nitrogen pressure from 50-500 psi. Fox Air shocks are adjustable in pressure range and compression ratio via the addition and reduction.
Suspension product will require more frequent servicing the harder they are worked. For those who ride lift-accessed DH, Park, or Extreme Freeride or in extremely wet/muddy or dry/dusty environmental conditions where trail debris is sprayed onto the fork or shock while on the trail, FOX encourages riders to perform maintenance earlier than recommended above as needed.
If you hear, see, or feel something unusual, stop riding immediately and contact a FOX Authorized Service Center for proper servicing.
Fork Factory Service
$185 USD / $200 CAD*
- Thorough inspection of fork for damage and/or wear.
- Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals and oil.
- New dust wipers and foam rings.
- Air spring assembly rebuild with new seals (F-series and FLOAT models).
- Fork bushings will be replaced when deemed necessary.
Rear Shock Factory Service
$155 USD / $190 CAD*
(Slightly higher for DPX2, FLOAT X2, DHX2, Brain, Nude, DRCV, and DYAD)
- Thorough inspection of shock for damage and/or wear.
- Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals, oil, and nitrogen recharge (for models requiring nitrogen charge).
- New air seals (if applicable).
- New Eyelet Hardware is available upon request at an additional charge.
Transfer Factory Service
$100 USD / $120 CAD*
- Complete overhaul of Seat Post internals
- All seals replaced
- Damper re-bled with new Damper oil
- Will look and perform as new
Fox Shock Service Manual
*Price may be higher if product is severely damaged and requires replacement parts that will exceed original estimate. FOX will call you with a revised estimate for your approval prior to work being started. Credit Card information for payment of services will be required at the beginning of the service. US only. International customers, please contact an Authorized International Service Center for service.

Standard Service
Performed according to current in-house turnaround times. Available at FOX Canada and US East and West Coast Service Centers.
Expedited Service
Fox Shock Manual
Moves your service to the front of the line once it is received at our Service Center. An additional $60 fee will be added to your service charge for this option. Available at FOX Canada and US East and West Coast Service Centers.
In the comment box at the end of the RA request form, please note that you would like the expedited service option.
FOX Service Appointment (FSA program)
Guaranteed 1 day in house turnaround based on a scheduled appointment. An additional $75 fee will be added to your service charge for this option. This service is available at the FOX West Coast Service Center only.
You must call 800-369-7469, ext. 4533 to schedule the service appointment – this option is not available through the RA Request form.
For status updates on your repair, please email the service center that you sent it to. Please include your ‘RA Number’ for quicker response times.
